Multi-Point Locking Mechanisms

Supply and fitting of multi-point lock systems that engage at multiple points along the door frame — far stronger than a standard single-bolt lock.

Multi-point lock

What Is a Multi-Point Lock?

A multi-point locking system engages at three or more points along the door frame when the key is turned — typically at the top, middle, and bottom of the door. This distributes force across the entire frame rather than a single point, making it much harder to kick in or lever open.

Most modern uPVC and composite doors come with multi-point locks as standard, but older installations or failed mechanisms can leave your home vulnerable. I supply and fit quality replacements quickly.

What's Included

  • Free assessment of your existing lock and door type
  • Supply of a like-for-like or upgraded mechanism
  • Full fitting and alignment to the door frame
  • Lock case, keeps, and shoot bolts replaced as needed
  • Test of all locking points before I leave
  • New keys cut if required

Door Types I Work On

I work on uPVC, composite, and timber doors. Whether you have a front door, back door, patio door, or French doors, I can source the correct mechanism.

Not sure if your lock needs replacing? If your door is stiff to lock, the handle drops without lifting, or the locking points don't feel positive, it's worth getting it checked. A failing mechanism won't secure the door properly even if it appears locked.
