What Is a Key Safe?

A key safe is a small, robust metal box fixed to an outside wall near your door. It holds your spare key behind a combination code. Only people who know the code can open it. They're weatherproof, tamper-resistant, and provide a huge amount of convenience without compromising security.

I supply and fit police-preferred key safes that are tested to SBD (Secured by Design) standards.

Placement Matters

Where you put a key safe is important. I'll advise on positioning that's accessible to those who need it but not obviously visible or easy for strangers to find.

Code security: Never set an obvious combination (birth years, 1234, etc.) and change the code if anyone who previously had access no longer should. I'm happy to change your code on a return visit.
